WORDS FROM KRISTIN:
"I made this record The Grotto when I was pregnant. And it, um, I think that's the, the message that
I'm supposed to take from it right now, is not to give a shit. Because, when you're pregnant, you have - there's another universe
you're paying attention to, not this one, and it's - it's not better or more important, it just needs to be your focus. And,
you know more about what that universe means than this one, you know. This one's out of your control, but that one keeps you
here. And so, this record I made was really quiet, and I sing out of tune and there weren't really any overdubs, except for
Howe Gelb on piano and Andrew Bird on violin. And it, it sounds kind of like a demo. But, that's good, now I think that's
good. I appreciate the demo lifestyle now, because of The
Grotto."
